Diagnostic Services
Diagnostic services are provided by all Mental Health and Deafness Resources psychologists and educational diagnosticians. These evaluations often occur in schools in Illinois, at the corporate offices in Northbrook, or within the group homes. Consulting psychiatrists, neuroscientists, and consulting neurologists assist with the evaluation when needed. It is the goal of the diagnostic team to specify to the fullest extent possible the problem areas for the child and to establish a plan for intervention and remediation to correct the problem areas noted. The newest neuroscience techniques are used to gain maximum information. A comprehensive report is generated for each student undergoing evaluation and a feedback session is held with appropriate family members and the student.
Outpatient Services
Outpatient Services can be provided by members of the Mental Health and Deafness Resources professional staff or through referral to other clinicians and/or agencies. For further information, please contact the Director of Admissions.
