Our Mission
Mental Health & Deafness Resources, lnc. is dedicated to the provision of intensive mental health and educational services to children, adolescents and adults who are deaf, hard of hearing or have communication disorders, complicated by emotional/behavioral disturbance or developmental delay. The quality of care and sensitivity to the diverse needs of the individual in a culturally affirmative environment is of primary concern in all our endeavors.
Our Vision
Mental Health & Deafness Resources, lnc. strives to be recognized as the leading mental health service provider in the country for deaf or hard of hearing children and adults with severe emotional disturbance.
This status will be acquired through national contributions to the field, emanating from Mental Health & Deafness Resources, lnc. Contributions will include innovative treatment programs, techniques
and materials, and develoPment of diagnostic techniques to evaluate language, communication and learning
disorders in deaf children and the standardization of assessment instruments.
